Using Databases

(Scroll down to learn how to use E-books)

    1. www.mdc.edu/kendall/library
    2. Click Find Articles.
    3. Click LINCCWeb Databases.
    4. Choose Search a Specific Database.
    5. Enter your 16 digit Student I.D. Number from your MDC photo I.D., and LINCC PIN Number (last four digits of your Social Security Number), OR (last four digits of your 16 digit Student I.D. Number).
    6. Click the Alphabetical button.
    7. Choose the best database for your topic.

For general articles on many subjects, use Academic Search Premiere or Expanded Academic ASAP.

 

To find health information and articles, use the Health and Wellness Resource Center.

 

Use Literature Resource Center to locate information about books, authors, or literary criticism.

 

To learn about the lives of famous people, look in Biography Resource Center.

 

For password access to The New York Times or The Miami Herald, please call the Reference Desk:  (305) 237-2207 or (305) 237-2292.

Using E-books

    1. Go to http://www.mdc.edu/kendall/library
    2. Click Find Books
    3. Select LINCCWeb E-Books Collection
    4. Log in with your 16 digit student ID number and PIN
    5. Connect to netLibrary, and search by author, title, or keyword
