Kendall CIS NOTICES

We're going to use this page to give you up-to-date announcements, and descriptions of new courses offered by the CIS department. Be sure to check this page on a regular basis!

Congratulations to Alonso Ramirez, the CIS Department's 2005-2006 Outstanding Student of the Year Mr. Ramirez has been a student of Miami Dade College since August 2001. He has maintained a 3.7 GPA and is graduating in May with an Associate in Arts degree. He also has graduated with honors in 2004, in which he received an Associates in Science Degree in Computer Information Technology. He enjoys computers and programming which is evident by all the activities he pursues.

Mr. Ramirez is more than an outstanding student; he always assists his classmates, on his own time with class assignments to help them succeed in their programming classes. He plans to continue his education at FIU, thus hoping to earn a Bachelor’s degree.

Congratulations to Rae Quan-Vie, the CIS Department's 2006 Excellence Award Recipient. Rae (pictured above) has displayed the qualities of excellence in her daily work that has brought significant respect and gratitude from all of the people their work touches each day.
